NOVE Gemini is an innovative reversible watch with a patented mechanism that allows quick swapping of the two dials.
This contemporary timepiece is inspired by some of the iconic reversible watches of the 20th Century. Introduced in 2021, this dual face watch evokes the celestial twins (Castor and Pollux) of Gemini, one of the constellations of the zodiac.
Swiss made, this uniquely designed wristwatch houses two Ronda quartz movements to drive the timekeeping functions of two dials. The first calibre is Slimtech 1062, which powers the display of sunray gradient dial (red to black) side with two hands (hour and minutes).
The second calibre (Slimtech 1064) drives three hands (hour, minute and small seconds) of the matte black dial. Both dials are elegantly designed with a minimalistic, easy to read back ground with dotted hour-markers and luminescent, leaf-shaped hands for the hour and minute. The black dial has a discreet small seconds counter just below the centre-point of the dial.
Brilliantly designed, the Gemini watch is equipped with a patented gear-driven housing ring that allows the dial to rotate 180 degrees before locking back into the base. As both display sides are independent, you may use the NOVE Gemini as a dual-time zone watch by setting home time and local time.
Measuring 49.2mm diameter and 13.3mm thickness, the case is made of 316L stainless steel. Fitted with a sapphire crystal glasses and screw-down crown, it is water resistant up to 50 meters. The watch comes with a solid stainless steel bracelet.
