Singapore based watch brand VARIO presents a 1930s inspired chronograph watch featuring the Seiko VK64 MecaQuartz movement.
This art-deco tuxedo chronograph has a 38mm diameter stainless steel case with a thickness of 11.5mm. Water resistant to 50 meters, the watch is secured with an AR coated sapphire crystal glass at the dial side and a solid steel case-back.
The VARIO Empire Chronograph comes with a multi-layer dial design featuring guilloche centre-part, two counters at 3 and 9 o’clock, dial ring with Arabic number hour markers and an outer dial ring with minute track.
The movement used in this chronograph is a hybrid type. It uses the quartz technology for the time-keeping functions and a mechanical module for chronograph.
The VARIO Empire Chronograph indicates the hour and minute with two centre hands. In the chronograph part, the watch has a central stop-watch seconds hand and a 60 minute register at 9 o’clock. It also features a sub-dial at 3 o’clock for displaying time in 24-hour format.
Presently, this new timepiece is available in various dial color combinations. Each of them is fitted with a vintage style Italian leather strap with slight bi-colour effect.
The retail price of the VARIO Empire MecaQuartz Chronograph is $298. Please visit VARIO Online Store for more details.
