Swiss watch brand Mido has unveiled a new Commander Chronograph model featuring a rose gold PVD case and gradient grey dial.
The new Mido Commander Chronograph’s dial has a bold grey tone in the centre that gradually shifts to anthracite around its edge.
Its sunray satin finish is combined with faceted indexes and a day/date function – typical features of the Commander collection. The polished indexes and diamond-cut hour and minute hands are clearly visible, even at night, with their white Super-LumiNova® coating.
A warm shade of rose gold adorns the hands, indexes, aperture, polished bezel and case to give a luxurious contrast with its deep grey face. A faceted and domed sapphire crystal further enhances the readability of the display.
The Commander Chronograph has a diameter of 42.5 mm, lending itself perfectly to every situation. It comes with two easily interchangeable straps – one in dark brown crocodile-look cow leather and one in grey fabric – which are both fitted with a rose-gold-coloured folding clasp.
The Commando Chronograph is equipped with the self-winding automatic caliber 60 based on ETA A05H21. Visible through the transparent case back, the movement spotlights blued screws, Geneva stripes on the oscillating weight and an engraved Mido logo.
The caliber 60 automatic movement offers power reserve of 60 hours, uncommon for a self-winding chronograph watch. To increase its accuracy, this movement is adjusted in three different positions.
The Mido Commando Chronograph is water-resistant up to a pressure of 5 bar (50 m/165 ft).
