Hong Kong based OLTO-8 presents IRON Series, an off-road-inspired mechanical automatic watch.
This rugged timepiece comes with a stunning open-worked design, tough angular outer frame, and a precise, reliable Japanese MIYOTA self-winding movement. Two versions of this timepiece are available: IRON X & IRON EX.
Framed by a strong square-shaped outer frame in 316L stainless steel, its open-worked dial design reveals the watch’s fascinating internal mechanisms. The outer frame of the case resembles the guard of an off-road vehicle, and the square shape of the manufacture resembles the shape of an off-road vehicle.
The skeleton layer is a cross, giving the dial a form like a wheel and dividing the movement and the exterior into distinct parts. The four luminous rings on the case are inspired by the headlights of the off-road SUV.
OLTO-8 IRON features a unique multi-layered case made from tough 316L stainless steel. The skeletonized body shows off the exquisitely-made movement inside.
A tough sapphire crystal covers the MIYOTA 82S7 self-winding movement underneath, protected by a hardened steel casing, giving this sophisticated system the durability needed for rugged outdoor activities.
The unique 24-hour dial which is isolated from the hands, shows clearly, day or night and a dedicated minute dial makes reading the time fast and accurate. Its numerals and hands are all illuminated with the latest Swiss Super-Luminova that glows in low-light conditions. The straps are made of Italian leather and each strap is welted by hand.
OLTO-8 IRON Series Automatic is now available on Kickstarter. During this crowd-funding campaign, you can pre-order the watch by pledging an amount, less than the future MSRP of the product. The special Kickstarter price of this model starts at $320 each, which is 42% less than the MSRP of the watch. Campaign period: 26 May to 30 June 2022. Estimated delivery in July 2022.
