French watchmaking brand YEMA has launched a FULL LUME variant of its popular Superman Maxi Dial professional diving watch.
Equipped with the company’s in-house caliber, the YEMA2000, the Superman Maxi Dial Full Lume is available in limited editions of 500 pieces and engraved with a unique number from 001 to 500.
Made of stainless steel, the watch is offered in two case sizes: 39mm and 41mm. It is provided with a 2.60mm thick sapphire crystal in double-domed shape for a resolute vintage look.
A major component of a diving watch is the rotating count-down bezel. The unidirectional, circular-brushed steel bezel of the Superman Maxi Dial watch comes with marks at 5-minute intervals and a luminescent triangular zero-mark at 12 o’clock. Its unique Superman bezel-lock at 3 o’clock has proven very useful to professional divers and is found on all Superman models since 1963. The watch is water resistant up to the depth of 300 meters.
This new diving instrument from Yema boasts a striking white dial enhanced with luminous treatment. Finished in black, its hands and indexes are perfectly in contract with the dial. The entire dial, hands, dial markers and bezel graduation are treated with a luminous coat of Grade A Superluminova® BGW9, for ensuring perfect readability in low light conditions.
The iconic black seconds hand with its head shaped like a shovel is exactly the same used in other 1970’s Superman models.
The second-generation in-house Caliber YEMA2000 is powered by optimized components offering an accuracy rating of +/- 10 s/d and a power reserve of 42h.
Developed to withstand intensive use, the 316L Steel caseback displays YEMA’s historic crest beautifully embossed with a hydraulic press. Each timepiece engraved with a unique number from 001 to 500.
The Yema Superman Maxi Dial Full Lume watch is available with a 316 L stainless steel bracelet featuring secure-lock and diver’s extension. The retail price of the Yema diving watch with steel bracelet is approximately $ 990 USD.
This model is also available a Rubber FKM VITON® band with 316L Stainless Steel deployant buckle. With this modern strap, the watch costs $ 1,019 USD.
