Maurice de Mauriac has launched the new limited edition Rallymaster watch in collaboration with Racquet, a New York based cult tennis quarterly and media company.
The Rallymaster pairs classic vintage details with modern tennis world cues. Its dusty pink colourway and multiple strap options celebrate tennis lifestyle on and off the court.
Designed by Carlton DeWoody, a creative best-known for interior design, the watch draws inspiration from uniquely graphic watch dials of the 60’s & 70’s. For this first-time partnership, Racquet and Maurice de Mauriac connected with DeWoody, whose passion for tennis and deep knowledge of vintage watches made him an ideal collaborator.
Zurich-based watch brand Maurice de Mauriac is known for its exclusive mechanical watch designs. Their collections have set themselves apart by pairing sportiness and luxury with quality Swiss craftsmanship. Run by the Dreifuss family who operate the brand with an independent spirit, their colourful personalities and unique styles come through vividly at their atelier in Zurich.
Founded in 2016, Racquet is the voice of a new tennis boom. Tired of seeing tennis portrayed as a country club sport for elites, Racquet has been building a community of tastemakers and creators in cities around the world.
Limited to 40 pieces, the Rallymaster by Maurice de Mauriac & Racquet is available for pre-order from first June. The price is CHF 1’950/ $1,950.00 (+ tax).
