Swiss luxury watch brand Franck Muller celebrates the 115th anniversary of the Sporting Clube de Portugal with an exclusive collection of 21 pieces. This limited edition pays homage to the Sporting, showcasing the color of the Club and key dates subtly placed on the dial.
This automatic timepiece belongs to the Franck Muller Remember collection. A perfect collection for an anniversary celebration, presenting the hour figures in the opposite clockwise direction.
Thanks to an ingenious self winding mechanism, the hour, minute and second hands will follow an unconventional rotation, making a circle in a “counter clockwise” direction.
This Sporting Limited Edition was crafted for the very first time in a green gold case, and showcases green numerals on its dial as well as the logo of the Sporting Clube de Portugal on the back of the case.
To celebrate the 115th anniversary of the club, symbolic dates and numbers were subtly placed on the dial in hologram: 1906 the foundation year of Sporting Clube de Portugal, 39 the number of European cups won, 23 as the number of national football championships won, 54 the number of sports disciplines and 146 the number of Olympic athletes.
