New York based watch brand Hemel presents Sea Dart, a much awaited diving timepiece from its HD Series.
This 39mm stainless steel watch is equipped with the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, capable of providing 42 hours of power reserve once it fully wound.
This compact diving instrument merges vintage and mid-century styles with modern materials. Its sunburst finished dial takes inspiration from the vintage cockpit instruments.
The Hemel Sea Dart watch comes with various dial choices to provide an impressive graphic presence on wrists thereby linking its historical form to modernity. The dial color palette includes Black Abyss, Navy Blue, Gilt, Salmon Pink, Robin’s Egg Blue, Juniper Green, Pineapple Yellow and Full Lume White.
In the first seven models, the hands and hour markers are embedded with the luminescent coating. In the Full Lume White model, the entire dial is painted with C3 Luminova.
The other features include anti-reflective coated sapphire double domed glass, a 120 click rotating bezel, diamond-cut hands, C3 Luminova and 300 meters of water resistance. The diving bezel features a lumed dot on the triangular marker.
The 316L steel case is brushed and has a very utilitarian overall feel, but there are some polished surfaces for visual interest. The watch comes fitted on a classic beads-of-rice bracelet in steel.
The suggested retail price of Hemel Sea Dart is US$499.99.
