The Big Crown Pointer Date is one of the emblematic creations from Oris. Boasting an oversized crown, red crescent-tipped pointer date hand and fluted bezel, timepiece has been enjoying a cult status since its induction in 1938. Now, for the first time, Oris is releasing the Big Crown Pointer Date watch in full bronze.
Its case, bezel, crown, bracelet and clasp are made of this historical alloy. This new model is available with four dial colour options – green, brown, bordeaux and blue.
Its 40mm diameter case is topped with a double domed sapphire crystal glass. This timepiece houses the self-winding Calibre 754. Providing a power reserve of 38 hours, this automatic movement is visible through the mineral glass case back.
The new Big Crown Pointer Date features cathedral hands for hour and minutes. They are embedded with Super-LumiNova® for ensuring visibility in the darkness.
A centrally placed pointer hand with a red-applied tip indicates date. The Arabic hour markers and indexes are also enhanced with luminescent coating.
The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Bronze watch is available with a multi-piece bronze bracelet with folding clasp or leather strap.
