Hamilton presents PSR MTX, a limited edition digital watch to mark the release of “The Matrix Resurrections,” the latest release of the famous The Matrix Franchise.
Hamilton launched the world’s first digital watch in 1970. The original Hamilton Pulsar was reborn in 2020 as the PSR. It stands as a symbol of the space-age futurism that led us into the 21st century’s increasingly digital-centric world.
The Matrix movie was released in 1999. The saga continues in “The Matrix Resurrections,” directed by Lana Wachowski, with Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising their iconic roles as Neo and Trinity. The Hamilton PSR MTX celebrates the launch of this new sequel.
Limited to 1,999 pieces in honor of the original film’s premiere, the sleek, all-black timepiece celebrates the return to the Matrix with green LCD numerals and the movie’s immediately recognizable digital rain pattern inscribed on the case back and on the watch’s special packaging.
The Matrix Resurrections is the long-awaited fourth film in the groundbreaking franchise that redefined a genre. The new film reunites original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the iconic roles they made famous, Neo and Trinity.

Lana Wachowski directed from a screenplay by Wachowski & David Mitchell & Aleksander Hemon, based on characters created by The Wachowskis. The film was produced by James McTeigue, Lana Wachowski and Grant Hill. The executive producers were Garrett Grant, Terry Needham, Michael Salven, Karin Wachowski, Jesse Ehrman and Bruce Berman.
The film will be distributed by worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures. It will be in theaters internationally beginning 16 December 2021, and in the U.S. in theaters and on HBO Max via the Ad-Free plan on December 22, 2021; it will be available on HBO Max for 31 days from theatrical release.
