Swiss watch brand Aquastar presents the Deepstar II, a new Swiss made automatic diving timepiece. It is a descendant of the 2020’s Deepstar Chronograph Re-Edition, which marked the resurgence of Aquastar.
Featuring a 37mm diameter stainless steel case, the new Deepstar II retains the design and proportions of the pioneering Deepstar Chronograph from 1962, as well as two of Aquastar’s symbolic characteristics: the rotating timing bezel bearing the brand’s own “no decompression” table.
The domed sapphire crystal glass offers unobstructed view of the grey dial. The watch also features the brand’s signature “cyclops” style mono-compax counter originally devised by Aquastar founder and innovator Frederic Robert. Unique to the Deepstar II, this detail now houses the running seconds register at 9:00.
Secured with a solid stainless steel case-back, the Deepstar II watch offers 200 meters of water resistance. It is powered by the top-grade Sellita SW-290 automatic Swiss-made movement.
The customers can use the online pre-order campaign for acquiring the Deepstar II watch. The pre-order price is $1,490. First batch of 300 pieces will be delivered early December 2021, second batch will ship in May 2022, and third batch will ship in July 2022.
