YEMA announces the launch of Wristmaster, the French watch brand’s long-awaited classic and timeless dress watches collection. Three distinct neo-vintage models equipped with YEMA’s In-house Caliber will be proposed in combination with YEMA’s history book TIME OF HEROES during the upcoming KICKSTARTER campaign. Inspiring from the emblematic 1960’s Wristmaster dress watches, the new Wristmaster Adventurer is instantly recognizable by its unique 37mm neo-vintage brushed steel case, the raised silver indices and the hesalite domed crystal, delivering a large dial opening yet warmer, vintage feel.
Presence on the wrist is ensured thanks to the 48mm lug-to-lug and 12mm thickness, making this dress watch perfect for all wrist sizes.
Equipped with the in-house Caliber YEMA2000, the new Wristmaster Adventurer will be available with two distinct colour dials.
During the Kickstarter campaign, Yema is also offering Wristmaster Traveller, a contemporary automatic wristwatch inspired by the brand’s rich design past. To create this model, YEMA’s Managing Director and Head of Design Christopher Bôle drew inspiration from two distinct YEMA vintage models dating from the 1960’s (for the octagonal case) and the 1980’s (for the bezel).
It is a sporty watch with an elegant design for daily use. Each aspect of the Wristmaster Traveller is fine-tuned and executed with the greatest attention to detail.

The brand has also announced the release of the first book entirely dedicated to YEMA and its history since 1948. Marie-Pia Coustans, a renowned writer specialised in French watchmaking history, has dedicated 5 years of research in order to delight watch enthusiasts, collectors and brand enthusiasts.
Faithful to YEMA’s innovative commercial approach, the brand proposes to partially finance all these massive investments through the release of a new dress watch collection, eagerly awaited by brand enthusiasts, which will be proposed with YEMA’s book during the upcoming Kickstarter crowd funding campaign that will take place as from November 15th – 30th, 2021.
With more than 330 pages and approximately 1,600 pictures, this unique book covers YEMA’s complete history since 1948 and is the result of the in-depth investigation carried out by the author, which includes interviews with YEMA’s founders, former employees, French and Russian astronauts, French military, remarkable adventurers, renowned sportsmen and watch collectors. Listing more than 1,200 YEMA models from 1948 to 2021, this collector’s book is the most complete and comprehensive YEMA catalog available.
