Pforzheim based watch brand Circula presents its latest timepiece, the SuperSport Automatic.
Founded in 1955, German watch brand Circula stands for high-quality mechanical watches with an authentic retro design. The new Circula SuperSport is a Super- Compressor diving watch, which were first launched in the 1950s.
The SuperSport is not just a Super-Compressor-style watch (i.e., two crowns and an inner rotating bezel), but also includes a real compressor-function. Thus, the case back is compressed by water pressure for better sealing.
As a genuine Super-Compressor, the SuperSport is based on models from the middle of the last century, modernized with today’s sporty elements.
The case has a diameter of 40 millimeters and a water resistance of 300 meters. Sapphire crystal guarantees a scratch-free view onto the dial, which is equipped with Swiss Super-LumiNova® C3 X1 and built in a sandwich construction. Thus, the indexes are lowered into the dial.
The inner rotating bezel and also the crown are filled with Swiss Super- LumiNova® C3. High-quality mechanical movements with automatic winding from Sellita in Switzerland are responsible for the precise time display, optionally available in ‘Top’ grade version with an extra hard Glucydur balance wheel for particularly high precision.
The pre-order phase has now started and offers the opportunity to purchase the new SuperSport for EUR 699 (incl. VAT) / USD ~699 (excl. VAT) in the brand’s online shop by October 15th, including two straps, an H-Link steel bracelet and a Tropical rubber strap as well as free worldwide shipping. From mid-October it will cost € 100 more.
Delivery will start mid-December 2021.
