Cuervo y Sobrinos presents a new tobacco dial version of its Prominente Solo Tiempo watch.

This new wristwatch comes with a large, elongated case measuring 33.75mm x 52mm. The upper surfaces of the case are stepped with the sides sitting on a lower plane.

The vertical flanks encompass gently curving lines, delivering an attractive contrast to the many straight edges employed throughout.

Inspired by the rich tones of a fine Cuban cigar, the tobacco ‘guilloché’ dial is adorned with a wave-like motif. The faceted hour and minute hands are presented in a luxurious golden hue. The hours are denoted with stylized Arabic numerals presented in rich golden tones. An oval-shaped piece of mother-of-pearl sits at the centre of the dial, further heightening the overall sense of luxury.

An applied CyS emblem is positioned at 12 o’clock, while a date indication is located above 6 o’ clock. A slender central sweep seconds hand completes the model’s inventory of functions. The sumptuous dial is framed with a classical chemin de fer, augmenting the overall readability of the display.

The Swiss automatic Calibre CYS 5103 can be viewed through a see-through caseback. The watch is presented on a brown matte Louisiana alligator strap paired with a stainless steel folding buckle.
