Marloe Watch Company and contemporary nautical design brand Bert & Buoy have collaborated to create Dart, a new nautical-themed automatic watch. Dartmouth, a small town in the English county of Devon, has been renowned for its rich maritime history.
Founded by British designer Bert Fowler in 2015, Bert & Buoy is a Dartmouth based brand specialised in the lifestyle products inspired by the region’s coastal life.
The Dart watch showcases Bert Fowler’s beautifully simplistic line work illustration with a ship motif as the centrepiece in a dial free from any distractions. The dial is constructed using 3 layers. The slightly recessed ring features the Dartmouth brand’s vivid aquamarine color.
Equipped with the Miyota 9039 automatic mechanical movement, this timepiece features coordinates of the mouth of the River Dart. The self-winding movement of this timepiece can be admired through the transparent case-back, which is surrounded by an aquamarine colored ring.
Limited to just 250 pieces, The Dart comes engraved with sequential numbering.
The Dart will available for £349 via the Marloe website.
