Audemars Piguet has opened its new boutique on Piazza di San Lorenzo in Lucina, a few steps away from the brand’s previous point of sales in Rome. Echoing the square’s vibrant position as Rome’s salotto, the new boutique will attract locals and visitors alike with its contemporary and warm atmosphere.
The new boutique is opened in the form of a joint venture with jewellery and horology retailer Restivo, strengthening the two companies’ long-standing collaboration.
With its 110 square metres, the boutique is the largest in Italy to date. The interior design is inspired by the Manufacture’s geographic origins in the Swiss Jura Mountains, boasting bespoke furniture uniting wood and stone. The space also includes a cosy lounge area for visitors to relax.
Here, fine watchmaking enthusiasts will discover a curated selection of the Manufacture’s latest models across its collections, including the Royal Oak, the Royal Oak Offshore and the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet.
Piazza di San Lorenzo in Lucina also welcomes an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak clock at the top of the local edicola. The Royal Oak’s contemporary octagonal steel architecture converses with the historical five-storey bell tower of the Basilica di San Lorenzo in Lucina, in an echo to Rome’s seamless blend of history and modernity.
