Swedish watch brand Levenaig has launched its new watch model Lakeland 38.
This small Swedish watch brand was debuted in 2013 with the Levenaig 41 model. The new model Lakeland 38 features several of Levenaig’s trademarks, such as the large case back glass and the slightly longer crown, and not least the combination of brass/bronze and titanium.
Lakeland 38’s dial does, however, not have the classic twelve large holes. Instead, the dial and movement appear to almost “float” as they are connected to the case only by a thin bridge which also covers the stem.
The mechanical movement is held in place by a single thin ring, leaving it clearly visible through the case back. The mechanical movement is either of manual or automatic type, depending on customer preferences.
The lugs’ solder joints have been left visible as if to remind the viewer that this is in fact a handmade watch case, and that every Lakeland case is unique.
A 38 mm unisex watch, Lakeland 38 fits most wrists, and its 11 mm height also allows it to be worn under a shirt sleeve.
The watch comes with a certificate of authenticity and is delivered in a beautiful – handcrafted – ocean-coloured wooden box. Lakeland 38 is available for order from the 3rd of May, 2021.
Founded by Holme Finnilä, Levenaig Watches is an independent Swedish brand manufacturing exclusive handmade watches – serial models as well as custom-made.
