Purnell Escape Primo WPM

After releasing last year the fastest double triple-axis tourbillon in the world, Purnell presents in collaboration with its iconic Master watchmaker Eric Coudray the Escape Primo, a new caliber CP11 with a single Spherion and a power reserve indicator.

Purnell Escape Primo WPM

Escape Primo becomes the world’s fastest triple axis tourbillon with a rotation of its Spherion in 8 seconds, 16 seconds & 30 seconds. The Escape Primo is presented in a WPM case, standing for “White Purnell Microfiber”, an all-new exclusive ultra-light and extremely heat and shock-resistant material.

Purnell Escape Primo WPM

WPM (White Purnell Microfiber) is a 100% Swiss made material. Escape Primo WPM case is composed of 4 blocks of WPM. Produced by vacuum injection molding, WPM has a particularly homogenic and smooth off-white appearance due to a fine polishing technique using very small-scale diamond tools.

Its surface is hardened with heat and finished with an anti-UV treatment, making it very resistant to all temperature conditions. The objective of WPM is to go beyond what conventional white ceramic offers, providing a lighter material (density 1,25g/cm3) and stronger shock-resistant properties.

The watch houses the CP11 caliber with a single Spherion: the world’s fastest triple axis tourbillon: 8, 16, 30 seconds; 50-hour power reserve with power reserve indicator.
