Swiss luxury watch brand Maurice Lacroix has added Alexandra Trusova to the ML Crew, a group of talented individuals from around the world. The Russian figure skater may be young, but she has already achieved so much. Joining the ML Crew is yet another landmark in her impressive career.
Despite being only 16 years of age, Alexandra has achieved much in a comparatively short time. At just 13 years old, Alexandra was the first skater to perform two quadruple jumps, a salchow and a toe loop while competing in the World Junior Championships 2018. Indeed, her free skate programme was a remarkable performance that was noticed around the world.
More recently, the Russian figure skater has competed in senior competitions, representing her home nation and winning bronze medals at the Grand Prix Final, Torino 2019-2020 and the European Championships 2020.
Alexandra was just four years of age when she took to the ice for the first time and her potential soon became apparent. Her chosen discipline requires technical precision, speed, flexibility, timing and absolute concentration. Alexandra has repeatedly climbed the rankings and she is currently placed 4th in the world.
Alexandra Trusova’s favourite watch is the AIKON Automatic 35mm with white mother -of-pearl dial and diamond indices.
