Founded by Tiffany Meerovitsch in 2015, NOVE produces innovative Swiss made timepieces that are durable, extraordinary, and functional. The Swiss watch brand has recently released the world’s slimmest luxury diving watch, the Trident.
With a mere 6.8mm thick case and a water resistance of 200 meters (20atm/660 ft), the Trident quartz opened a new chapter in the history of diving watches. Now, the brand announces the first automatic version of this ultra-thin diving timepiece.
Inspired by the Trident quartz diving watches, the automatic watch features a smooth and thin case with a thickness of 13.05 mm. Equipped with the Swiss made R150 self-winding movement, this new timepiece boasts a water resistance of 200 meters, just like its quartz counterpart.
Topped with a double curved sapphire crystal glass, the Trident Automatic watch features Tahitian Mother of Pearl dial with luminescent hour-markers.
The dial also hosts three Super-LumiNova treated hands for hour, minute and seconds respectively as well as a date window at 3 o’ clock.
The watch case measures 46mm diameter, 30mm dial opening and 49mm lug to lug length. It has a thickness of 6mm without crystals/13.05mm with crystal. Made with stainless steel, this ultra-thin diving watch features a slim rotatable bezel with inner spokes.
Rotation of the bezel is regulated with three unidirectional ratchets fixed on the case. The Trident Automatic watch also features a screw-down crown at 3 o’ clock and a double curved sapphire crystal glass case back, which offers the view of self-winding movement.
The watch is fitted with a 25mm wide stainless steel bracelet. This light weight ultra-slim watch fits comfortably on the wrist, while maintaining the plush look of fine timepieces made in Switzerland. The Trident Automatic is available in four color themes.
The Kickstarter campaign launched by the brand is online now and it will be active till 12 January 2021. Post successful campaign, the Trident Automatic will be shipping to Early Bird backers worldwide before January 31, 2021.
