Italian watch brand Unimatic is bringing back its iconic vintage military dial this time in a new RAF grey colorway, housed in the unique Modello Due case – available in two different finishings: U2-F with brushed stainless steel or U2-FN with black DLC coating.
For the first time Modello Due can now be paired with its own solid brushed stainless steel bracelet thanks to the new UBK U. The bracelet features two sets of solid end-links, providing a perfect match to both U1 and U2 case.
The new Modello Due U2-F and U2-FN feature a RAF grey high-readability dial with matching ladder phantom hands and Super LumiNova® C1 white with silver closed second rail. The new timepiece features a 38.5 mm stainless steel case with brushed finish for U2-F model and with black DLC coating on brushed finish for U2-FN model.
The watch is topped with a 2.7 mm thick ultra double domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The solid stainless steel case, the screwed-in 2mm thick caseback, the 8mm diameter crown together with the high quality gaskets set provide a water resistance tested individually to 30 atm (300m/1000ft). The caseback features the Unimatic angular mil engraving and the individual progressive number.
These new timepieces are powered by the NH35A automatic movement tuned to 21600bph with 41h power reserve and hacking seconds hand.
The U2-F comes on a grey Unimatic nylon two pieces strap with stainless steel brushed hardware signed UNIMATIC, while the U2-FN on a black Unimatic nylon two pieces strap, black DLC brushed hardware signed UNIMATIC.
The watches are covered by a 24 months worldwide warranty. Both models come in limited editions: U2-F is part of unique edition of 500 pieces, while U2-FN of 250 pieces.
The new references are available from October 5th, 2020 at unimaticwatches.com and selected retailers, U2-F at €400 +tax and U2-FN at €500 +tax.
