Sconvolto Ammortizzato
Sconvolto is a new Italian watch micro-brand that creates innovative and unconventional timepieces. Sconvolto’s first watch, the Ammortizzato, reinvents wristwatch design and ergonomics.
Made from a heat-treated aluminium alloy, its lightweight case structure sits firmly on the wrist, the dial angled toward wearer’s eyes, thanks to its anatomic profile and spring-loaded lugs. Every component of the dial and case of the watch is custom developed, and most finishing and assembly is done in-house.
The Ammortizzato automatic watch is available with two movement options: Miyota 9015 or Miyota 82S. Both movements are made in Japan. The Miyota 9015 is a 24 jewel, 28800 bph self-winding movement that displays hour, minute, seconds and date functions.
The Miyota 82S5 is a 21 jewel, 21600 bph self-winding movement that features hour, minutes and small-seconds functions. Both movements have a power reserve up to 42 hours.
Measuring 41x55mm, the heat treated aluminium alloy case of the watch has been finished with hand-polishing, anodization and EPD coating. The watch is topped with a shatterproof, distortion-free PMMA crystal.
The Ammortizzato watch is available in four variations: Tipo L, Tipo D, Tipo A and Tipo F. The Ammortizzato Tipo L model features a golden orange case and a black dial with orange marks and small seconds at 4 o’ clock.
The Tipo D model features a black case and a white dial with black marks and seconds window at 6 o’ clock. Both Tipo L and Tipo D models use the Miyota 82S5 automatic movement.
The Ammortizzato Tipo A and Tipo F models are powered by the Miyota 9015 self-winding movement. The Tipo A watch comes in a red case and a black dial with white marks and date at 3 o’ clock. Featuring a blue colored case, the Tipo F model highlights a black dial with white marks and date at 3 o’ clock.
Each Ammortizzato features a dual-layer strap made from Italian calfskin leather and premium natural rubber.
