Swiss watch brand Louis Erard has created a limited edition timepiece in partnership with Ultima Sports Ltd, the world-renowned sports car manufacturer based in Hinckley, Leicestershire, England.
La Sportive Ultima RS Limited Edition is inspired by the Ultima RS supercar; the fastest ever made by British manufacturer Ultima Sports. In addition to their unique personality – black, white, uncompromising – both car and watch have something else in common: the number 60. La Sportive Ultima RS Limited Edition is a limited edition of 60. And the Ultima RS goes from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.3 seconds.
This special edition chronograph watch houses the iconic ETA 7753 Valjoux movement featuring a specially decorated oscillating weight and Louis Erard engraving. Beats at 4Hz, this 27 jewels movement has a power reserve of 48 hours and it drives central hour and minute hands, small seconds, date and chronograph functions.
This timepiece has a 42.50 diameter Sandblasted stainless steel case with black PVD coating. It is fitted with an AR coated sapphire crystal glass and a screwed case-back featuring a specially decorated “UltimaRS 1 of 60” case back crystal.
The élaboré grade movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case-back. Its dial features matt black outer zone, black snailed counters, glossy white central area, white and silver transfers and date at 6:00. The watch is fitted with a black carbon-fibre effect calf leather strap.
