German watch brand Tutima reinforces its M2 Coastline collection by adding a new chronograph model.
The new model reflects this Glashütte-based watch manufacturer’s enthusiasm for self-consistent styling free from angular corners and sharp edges – as known from its legendary predecessor NATO chronograph.
The chronograph’s large push buttons are ergonomically integrated into the rounded contours of the case, which has been pressure tested to 20 atm. As typical M2, the case is made of satin-brushed pure, ultra-light and highly resistant titanium with a screwed back, which is decorated with a wind rose. The titanium push buttons are additionally black PVD coated and finished with a non-slip surface for a perfect grip.
The dial continues the M2 philosophy of reduction to the essentials. Perfect legibility is achieved by the clear arrangement and linear design of all elements – from the counters for the stopwatch mechanism to the Super-LumiNova coated hands and indexes. An antireflective sapphire crystal above the dial minimizes glaring reflections.
This youngest member of the M2 family is powered by automatic Tutima Caliber 310 with 48-hour power reserve, date display, hour-, minute- and small second-hand. The chronograph tallies up to 60 elapsed seconds, 30 elapsed minutes and 12 elapsed hours, clear visibility grants a sweep second hand.
The M2 Coastline Chronograph watch is available with a titanium bracelet, optionally with a strap of leather, rubber/leather or rubber/Cordura®.
