Swiss watch brand Lebois & Co has announced an equity-based crowd-funding campaign that offers an opportunity for watch enthusiasts to become early investors and shareholders in Compagnie des Montres Lebois & Cie. The company, which has recently acquired the legendary watch brand Airain, has selected the crowdfunding platform Eureeca.com for the campaign.
Eureeca is the first crowd-funding platform to be regulated in multiple markets and only
accepts campaigns after a comprehensive review and is regarded as one of the most successful and popular platforms in the world. In addition to the advantages of being able to acquire watches from high-quality mechanical series at reduced prices as an investor, shareholders also benefit from the company’s growth and even have the opportunity to be active on the brand’s advisory board.
The capital of the investors will flow into the expansion of the collection, plus marketing and further development of the brand, which was first founded in 1934 and re-emerged in 2014 under new management.
After the successful Avantgarde and Venturist chronometer collections, Lebois is working on a Heritage Chronograph based on historical models the brand has in possession. Also new is the Lebois & CoLAB initiative in which watch enthusiasts come together for the first time and design a watch together.
With the legendary pilot’s watch brand Airain, another part of the watch family has already been secured. Airain’s Type 20 was a flyback chronograph developed for the French Army in the 1950s and 1960s, the historical originals of which fetch enormous prices at auctions. Even then, Lebois & Co and Airain were sister brands.
Further historical brands are to follow and also a complete brand concept offer for jewelers. The sales concept also follows the signs of the times: customers can order Lebois& Co watches online now, or in future receive them via click-and-collect as an exclusive service.
Registrations for early access to Lebois & Co Equity Crowdfunding Round are already possible now.
