The new Spinnaker Tesei Bronze Automatic automatic diving watch pays tribute to Teseo Tesei (1909 -1941), the Italian naval officer who invented the human torpedo used by the Italian Navy during WW2.
This robustly built timepiece embraces both the spirit and performance of naval soldiers. The watch features a 43 mm diameter case in solid bronze. It is secured with a convex scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass and see-through exhibition case back.
With 300m of water resistance, the watch features an exceptionally sturdy build via the screw-down crown, case back and solid and precise ceramic inset bezel constructed to offer precise time elapsed measurement with a satisfyingly sturdy yet fluid feel.
A self-regulating Helium release valve is built into the side of the case affording the wearer complete safety and durability in all dive conditions.
The dial is less cluttered yet well-balanced mix of vintage diving cues with a wave pattern embossing on the dial and circular, triangular and baton applied indexes applied with Swiss Super-LumiNova.
Bold pencil-shaped hour and minute hands are facetted and precisely finished and also applied with Swiss Super-LumiNova offering better low-light visibility and legibility.
The Spinnaker Tesei watch houses the Swiss Made Selitta SW-200 Automatic movement. This 26 jewels movement is visible through the transparent case back.
True to the Italian spirit of the timepiece – the Tesei features Italian made, custom-designed waterproof genuine leather straps hand-finished with care by craftsman in Florence.
