Longines Heritage Classic Tuxedo

The new Longines Heritage Classic Tuxedo timepieces celebrate the carefree spirit of the 1940s. This series is available in two interpretations: a 3-hand model and a chronograph model.

Longines Heritage Class Tuxedo

As the name suggests, these timepieces take their design inspiration from the tuxedo suits. To design these new models, Longines has chosen the aesthetics styles of historic timepieces introduced in the late 1940s. The contrast of black and white on their dial is a nod to the tuxedo suits.

Longines Heritage Class Tuxedo Three Hands Automatic

To respect the spirit f the original models, Longines has chosen not to add the word “Automatic” on the dials of these new creations. The date window is also omitted for maintaining the historical inspiration.

Longines Heritage Class Tuxedo Three Hands Automatic dial

The three hands model stands out for the aesthetics of its dial, a typical and very popular design from the 1940s. An opaline silver disc surrounded by a sublime matt black circle off thin baton hands covered with Super-LumiNova. The vintage styled dial also boasts a small seconds counter at 6’o clock.

The 38.50 mm diameter stainless steel houses the exclusive L893.5 movement (Base ETA A31.501). Fitted with a silicon hairspring, this automatic can deliver a power reserve up to 64 hours.

The Longines Heritage Classic Chronograph – Tuxedo is powered by the L895.5 self-winding movement (ETA A31.L21) with a silicon balance spring. This watch comes with a 40mm diameter stainless steel case. This timepiece blends matt-black, opaline and mid-night blue shades on its vintage styled dial.

Longines Heritage Class Tuxedo Chronograph automatic

The Heritage Classic Chronograph – Tuxedo features several zones on its dial, and a tachymetric scale – quite rare for a Longines watch – also enriches its circumference. The watch has a power reserve of 54 hours.

The new Longines Heritage Classic timepieces are fitted with black leather straps.
