RAYMOND WEIL has announced the re-launch of the iconic Don Giovanni Così Grande. A decade since its initial release and as a celebration of the Swiss Watchmaking Maison’s historic and musical roots, just 20 units of the Don Giovanni Così Grande will be available worldwide, exclusively online at the Raymond Weil e-boutique.
As a reminder to the brands’ contribution to music worldwide, RAYMOND WEIL is donating 10% of sale proceeds to Nordoff Robbins, the UK’s largest independent music therapy charity.
The robust rectangular layout measures a generous 50 x 38 mm in case size, with two offset dials. The top reading minutes with a unique visual perspective drawing your eye to an hour window located at the top of the face. The bottom dial contains the running seconds indication.
The figure eight dial layout is complimented by the organic curves of the stainless steel case. The hour display is known as a “digital jumping hour”. This means that the hour hand is replaced by a large window, located at 12 o’clock, for an extraordinary reading of time. This particularity was achieved thanks to a mechanical movement with automatic winding, the caliber RW 1400, equipped with a disc that displays the hours. At each full hour, they instantly “jumps” to the following hour, which appears in the window.
Leather strap and stainless steel bracelet versions are available, both at £3,995 from raymond-weil.co.uk – launching 27th April 2020.
