The Swedish heritage watch brand Knut Gadd presents Cult Diver Arctic Circle, a limited edition diving timepiece designed to pay tribute to the Antarctic region. The watch is presently available for pre-order on Kickstarter.
This diving watch is made from surgical grade stainless steel. Its case measures 44mm diameter (45mm with crown), 13mm thickness and 20mm lug width. The watch is water resistant up to 100 meters or 330 feet.
The Cult Diver Arctic Circle watch is fitted with a precision cut and rotatable saw tooth bezel. The matte aluminum top ring of the bezel features 5 to 55 markings and Swiss super luminous hour dot on the top triangle indicator painted in red or orange.
The watch is equipped with a screw-down crown featuring embossed brand logo. Front glass is hi-domed h-grade mineral crystal. The watch houses a Japanese Miyota quartz movement driving the time-only indications.
The watch is fitted with stainless steel case back with engravings depicting an arctic map highlighting the coordinates of Troll Lake (Rissajaure), the clearest and purest lake in Sweden. Each Arctic Circle Edition undergoes a 72 hours survivability test at the bottom this arctic lake, which is one of the coldest places in the Northern Hemisphere.
The Cult Diver Arctic Circle watch is available in two variants: Deep Marine with orange details and deep black with red details. The watch features a guilloche pattern dial with Swiss super luminous old radium styled hour-markers, luminescent hour, minute hands and the seconds hand in orange or red.
Each Cult Diver Arctic Circle watch comes fitted with an easily interchangeable stainless steel bracelet (20mm-18mm wide) featuring engraved, adjustable folding buckle.
The Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the initial mass production of the Cult Diver Arctic Circle watch is online now. The campaign will be active until 26 March 2020. Pledges start from US$ 248.
