Diving watch specialist AQUADIVE presents a new steel-blue edition of its best selling Bathyscaphe 100 watch. For 2020, the brand is introducing a hardened steel case to this purpose-built adventure watch, with the application of thick, faceted dial markers that boost legibility while bringing a degree of refinement that perfectly complements its “true blue” dial.

The Aquadive BATHYSCAPHE 100 is a versatile dive watch that comes dressed in a highly wearable 43 x 49 x 12.5 millimeter case CNC machined out of a solid block of German 316L surgical stainless steel, DLC steel, or marine-grade bronze alloy. The caseback and crown screw tightly down to ensure a water resistance of 1,000 meters (3,333 feet).

The BATHYSCAPHE 100 watch also features an automatic gas relief valve nestled between the strap horns at 6:00. The bezel is topped with a scratch-resistant and luminescent ceramic timing ring and precisely ratchets through 120 positions.

Inside ticks a self-winding Swiss movement, the ETA 2824-2, which drives hours, minutes and sweep seconds, a quickset date function, and is adjusted to five positions for accuracy. The Aquadive BATHYSCAPHE 100 comes fitted with a 22-millimeter ISOfrane rubber strap with stainless steel buckle.

The Aquadive 100 is limited to 500 pieces (of each color) and the individual number is engraved on the caseback.
