Bereve Enamel Grand Feu “Numbers” Collection
Bereve is an independent Swiss luxury watch brand based at Chiasso in Switzerland.
The brand has been specialized in the manufacturing of 100% Swiss Made timepieces featuring enamel dials created with the “Grand Feu” technique including Champlevé, Coisonné, Plique Jour, and Miniature. Bereve combines different techniques, such as Micromosaic in spun enamel, with the most precious and unique decorative stones and minerals in the world.
The “Numbers” collection by Bereve highlight a meticulously crafted enamel Grand Feu Champlevé dial inspired by “Numbers”, the highly appreciated artwork created by the Italian painter and sculptor Ugo Nespolo.
The expert master enamellers spend around 150 hours working on each individual dial. It starts with a plate of pure gold (24k) or fine silver 999, on which a master engraver recreates manually, through the use of a burin, the complex web of the work “Numbers”, which consists of 132 cells. Subsequently, the Master Enamellers of Bereve Timepieces apply, in thin layers, the “twenty colours” that create this magnificent work of art.
This very delicate phase takes shape through a succession of about 14-18 firings at temperatures between 780-900 degrees Celsius. This is an extremely rare type of work in modern watchmaking, created entirely by hand in Switzerland at the Bereve Timepieces workshops.
The “Numbers” collection consists of gold (18k-4N), stainless steel (316LM) and DLC coated stainless steel versions. The case has a diameter of 42mm and 14.41mm thickness. The enamel dial that depicts the artwork measures 37 mm diameter.
These timepieces are equipped with the “Vaucher 3002”, a high quality self-winding movement made entirely in Switzerland, adapted by the house to the construction specifications of Bereve Timepieces, with luxury treatments for bridges and gears and oscillating weight in tungsten, which are admirable thanks to the sapphire caseback.
The case is completely made in Switzerland, equipped with two anti-reflective sapphire crystals, and water resistance of 5 ATM. All Bereve watches come with hand-sewn Louisiana alligator straps.

The case dimensions and movement used are same as that of gold model.
