The Manero AutoDate LOVE is a joint creation by Carl F. Bucherer and the global Brand Ambassador Li Bingbing, a popular Chinese actress.
The LOVE comes in nine elegant variations featuring bold colors, graceful details, the finest quality materials, and high quality Swiss automatic movements. The ladies’ watch collection, which was inspired by Li Bingbing’s charitable foundation L.O.V.E. Responsible Life, is dedicated to the multifaceted modern woman.
Li Bingbing has made a name for herself as an actress both in Asia and in Hollywood. What’s more, she has been serving as a global Brand Ambassador for Carl F. Bucherer and its values since 2016.
Now the Swiss watchmaker has teamed up with the movie star to create a collection that highlights another aspect of her character: her charitable activities.
Li Bingbing has been working with international organizations to support good causes – fighting poverty, protecting endangered species, and advocating for the environment – since 2003. This led her to start L.O.V.E. Responsible Life in 2009, which acts as an umbrella organization for her numerous charitable projects.
The Manero AutoDate LOVE takes its name from the foundation and features its emblem on the dial: a leaf that symbolizes environmental protection and a plea for more humane values. The motif is delicately integrated into the small-seconds subdial and lends each timepiece a unique grace.
The array of colors and materials in the Manero AutoDate LOVE family represents the multifaceted nature of the modern woman. From bold and expressive to elegant and subdued, each of the nine different models in this collection cuts an ultra-feminine figure on the wrist.
Three of the pieces feature a love-inspired color scheme: vibrant red dials adorned with a fine sprinkling of gold dust – an unusual finishing that gives a warm, luxurious glow, reflecting the light with every movement.
The magnificent dial is framed by a case in either elegant rose gold or, in the refined two-tone version, by a case in 18 k rose gold and stainless steel, while a red Louisiana alligator-leather strap or a stainless steel and rose gold bracelet finish off the pieces with a harmonious flair.
The crowning piece among this trio features a solid rose gold case and a bezel encrusted with 62 diamonds. Vibrant red combines with the luster of gold and brightly sparkling accents in a fabulously luxurious and infinitely feminine timepiece.
The three LOVE models with a petrol blue dial strike a completely different tone with their combination of warm and cool hues: powerful, fascinating, and mystical.This trio comes in a choice of a two-tone case or a case in pure stainless steel. The intense color of the dials is a true head turner and is complemented by an alligator-leather strap in a matching color.
The final three pieces in the collection hit a timeless and elegant note with their white mother-of-pearl dials, stainless steel cases, and choice of a purple alligator-leather strap or sporty steel bracelet. One member of the trio is even adorned with 62 diamonds.
All nine models feature a feminine and contemporary 35.5-millimeter case diameter along with a delicate leaf motif adorning the small-seconds subdial.
These elegant ladies’ timepieces are powered by Swiss automatic movements for the ultimate in precision.
The CFB 1971 caliber boasts 42 hours of power reserve and acts as a reliable engine for the hour, minute, as well as the small seconds at 6 o’clock, and the date display at 3 o’clock. The sapphire crystal case back allows the wearer to admire the fine finishing and precise motions of the movement within.
