Arcaido – Primo and Primo GMT
Arcaido is a young micro-watch brand that proudly carries a rich tradition of watchmaking expertise of more than 30 years. The Arcaido brand is a new step in fine horology by Balestra Studios, a family owned company specialized in watchmaking.
Based in San Donà di Piave, a historical town in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Balestra Studios has been involved in Business-to-business watchmaking for decades.
The company has devoted thirty years in researching and driving the latest fashion trends, perfecting movements with the quality components – and sourcing the finest materials. As the new millennium approached, the business expanded to incorporate design and the company started designing and manufacturing watches for clients worldwide. Now under the leadership of the founder’s son Alberto, Balestra Studios has been exploring new possibilities in fine watchmaking by unveiling a new watch brand.
The watch brand ARCAIDO reflects hard work, innovation and passion for new ideas. The vision of the brand to produce beautifully crafted timepieces that combines Italian design and Swiss made manufacturing standards.
The debut collection from the brand is comprised of a two Swiss Made automatic diving watch models: Primo and Primo GMT. First one is a three-hands watch with date. The second model is a GMT watch with date.
Both watches are crafted from Marine grade bronze CuSn6. The case measures 42.5 mm diameter and features polished and brushed finishing. Water resistant to 300 meters, each of these diving watches is equipped with a 120 minutes unidirectional rotatable graduated ceramic bezel in matt and polished finishing with figures in relief.
Protecting the front is an anti-reflective sapphire glass. On the rear side, the screwed 316L stainless steel case back with sapphire glass enable the owner to admire the automatic mechanical movement beating inside the watch. The stainless steel caseback ring features decorative work with original Arcaido pattern deep engraved with polish finishing.
Made with bronze, the screw-down crown at 3 O’CLOCK features a polished ceramic insert with brand logo. The timepieces are equipped with Swiss Made Sellita automatic movements. The top grade movements feature decorative works and custom designed rotors.
Arcaido’s clients can add personal touches to their made-to-order watches, such as custom engravings (including signatures) to the watch face.

Straps
Leather strap: hand Made in Italy padding with matching stitching. It is available in three versions: antelope Kudu, patinated leather and crocodile. The black inner lining has the logo embossed.
Rubber band: NBR with original Arcaido pattern on the back.
Buckle
Polished bronze with bronze tongue.
