The new Louis Moinet Metropolis Mexico Limited Edition watch enshrines an extraordinary journey through the Mexican culture and history.
The collection of only 12 watches in steel features a genuine ALLENDE meteorite fragment in a capsule at the three o’clock position. The ALLENDE meteorite discovered in the state of Chihuahua on February 8, 1969 is the oldest known material in existence, estimated to be 4.567 billion years old – making it 30 million years older than the earth itself.
This timepiece in 43.2mm diameter stainless steel case houses Calibre LM45, a 22-jewel automatic movement with a power reserve of 48 hours. Two blued centre hands display the hours and minutes. A sub-dial at 9 o’clock displays the seconds.
