On Sunday, September 29, racing fans from across the globe headed to America’s Home for Racing, Charlotte Motor Speedway, to witness Chase Elliott #9 claim first place at the Bank of America ROVAL 400 — the cutoff race in Round 1 of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
The ROVAL Race featured Ernst Benz as the official timekeeper alongside with the brand’s retailer, Diamonds Direct with Ernst Benz and its slogan, ‘Precision Instruments for Timekeeping’ appearing on the jumbotron, the largest TV in America. Elliott claimed number-one status in a riveting race and took home the #1/50 in the new Limited Edition Instrument Series.
This new ChronoScope series features a yellow instrument dial, black Arabic luminous numerals and needle hands in a stainless steel case, paired with a Bison aviator strap with yellow stitching and is being produced exclusively in 47mm.
Launching one in May at the Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race won by Kyle Larson #42 and now one for the highly anticipated Roval 400. Ernst Benz presented the timepiece to Elliot inside the winner’s circle alongside President and Owner of Speedway Motorsports Marcus G Smith.
Formula One World Champion and motorsports legend Mario Andretti, who served as honorary pace car driver for the ROVAL race, was presented with the #2 in this new Limited Edition Instrument Series before the race by Marcus Smith and Leonid Khankin, the managing creative director and owner of Ernst Benz.
The Limited Edition Instrument Series, which will be available for the holidays, is part of a three-part series as official timekeeper of the 2019 Charlotte Motor Speedway. This new series will be available starting in November at Diamonds Direct in, North Carolina and from Ernst Benz.
