Swiss watch brand Oris is partnering with two of the world’s most powerful agents of community in its bid to bring change for the better: the pioneering men’s health charity Movember, and manager of the New York Yankees baseball team, Aaron Boone. To support Movember Foundation, Oris has created Movember Edition, a special version of the iconic Oris Chronoris in support of the charity.
As well as spearheading a worldwide fundraising campaign, Oris will donate part of the proceeds from the Movember Edition to Movember Foundation.
Founded in 2003, Movember Foundation has now supported more than 1,250 projects around the world that address the issues related to men’s health. Oris is one of the charity’s supporting partners.
Movember has seen how community can help men struggling with serious health issues. Much like Yankees fans lift the team in times of adversity, Movember is looking for supporters who can help make a difference. Its vision is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25 per cent by 2030.
The special edition Chronoris watch features a 39mm stainless steel case. Its black dial features rose gold-plated hour and minutes hands with Super-LumiNova®, orange seconds hand and white indices.
The watch houses an automatic movement which is capable to deliver up to 38 hours of power reserve.
