Swiss watch brand Formex expands its successful Essence collection by launching the COSC-Essence Dégradé chronometer model. This new watch boasts a handmade gradient (“Dégradé”) dial with center in silver to the edges in black. Depending on the angle and light, the elaborately milled dial thus receives a stunning three-dimensionality with ever changing, new facets.
This timepiece has a 40mm diameter stainless steel case. The steel bracelet and the carbon fiber clasp for the leather or rubber straps come with a patented micro-adjustment. This allows the perfect fit in all conditions. Straps and bracelets can be interchanged without the use of any tools, and in just a few seconds.
The 4-fold case suspension system provides additional comfort on the wrist. Powered by a Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1, the officially certified Automatic movement ensures industry leading precision and accuracy. The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal caseback. The watch has a water resistance of 100 meters.
The Essence Dégradé is available at $USD 1,285.00 (on steel bracelet) and $USD 1,165.00.00 (on leather or rubber strap) from September 2019.
