Earlier this summer Backes & Strauss released the Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon collection with two beautiful watches: the Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon and the Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon D2R set with a total of 475 white Ideal Cut diamonds (6.48 cts).
This new collection marks the brand’s 4th generation of tourbillon watches. In a constant endeavour to achieve new horological heights all the while staying true to its jewellery know-how, Backes & Strauss’ Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon timepieces house the brand’s very first double peripheral tourbillon mechanism; its winding system of which the rotor, visible via the open back case, turns around the movement. The bridge of the tourbillon is set with 208 white Ideal Cut diamonds.
Now, Backes & Strauss completes the Duke collection with its third timepiece, the Berkeley Renaissance Duke Tourbillon Baguette. Other than its diamond-set dial, bridge and buckle, this stunning timepiece is further embezzled with 100 baguette diamonds on the case, adding up to a total of 439 diamonds (11.56 cts).
