Venturo Field Watch #1

Venturo, the sister brand of Gruppo Gamma Time Instruments, presents its first collection, the Field Watch #1, which is a dive-capable field watch.

Field watches were first introduced to the world in the late 19th century, and have been used by soldiers to coordinate tactical operations. The watches are characterised by their sturdiness, versatility and high legibility in both day and night, which the Field Watch #1 surpasses with a reliable movement, class-leading lume and water resistance of 200m.

The Field Watch #1 comes in a solid stainless steel case measuring 42mm diameter. It houses a NH35A Automatic winding movement rated for a power reserve up to 41 hours.

Other noteworthy features are: The double-domed sapphire crystal front glass with anti-reflective treatment, screw-down solid case back, screw lock crown and Sandwich dial with markers and hands filled with Swiss SuperLumiNova.

The Field Watch #1 is offered in three variants – black dial with green lume, blue dial with blue lume and cream full-lume dial.

A special edition of 88 pieces has also been produced for the Singapore Watch Appreciation Group (SWAG), a watch enthusiast group in Singapore. This variant features a case in gunmetal finish, full-lume dial with Singapore’s map coordinates printed in red, seconds hand tipped in red, and “1 of 88 pieces” inscribed on the case back.
