MUSE Swiss Art Watches ®

Created by two experienced watchmaking engineers, MUSE – Swiss Art Watches ® is a registered trademark of Swiss watches, based in Saint-Cergue in the state of Vaud in Switzerland. It is based on a concept and totally unique designs that highlight the philosophy, the artistic sense and the quality requirement of these two creators.

MUSE Swiss Art watches brand was founded by Pascal Robert and Frédéric Leubain 2016 fuelled by an ambition to merge the watchmaking tradition with the modernity of contemporary art and offer high quality products at the fairest price. In 2018, MUSE Swiss Art watches launched a successful online crowd funding campaign to bring their dream project to life.

MUSE Swiss Art watches are both reliable timepieces and jewelry with a totally unique and innovative design. This new concept removes traditional hands in favor of finely crafted patterns that run at the speed of hours, minutes and seconds, generating compositions in perpetual motion, offering you a true living art. These watches are produced in Switzerland with materials of the highest quality, such as titanium and natural stones. We equipped them with a “collector” movement from 1969.

MUSE Swiss Art watches are aimed at all those who understand and appreciate the art of watchmaking and design and are looking for an exclusive and innovative Swiss automatic mechanical watch, with the highest degree of know-how and quality of materials.

At the heart of MUSE Swiss Art watches models beats a custom modified version of the self-winding mechanical caliber ETA 2776, a historic movement, created in 1969 and whose production has stopped in 1982 because of the watchmaking crisis. The brand breaths life to this vintage movement by reworking several hundred kits carefully guarded for decades by a collector. The watch makers equipped this caliber with a 21,600 (3Hz) oscillator so as to favor the power reserve with a minimum of 48 hours. This movement is called Caliber MUSE “MU 01”. Embellished with black rhodium, its finishes are unique: “côtes circulaires”, graining, diamond-cut edge and a sunny finishes on the oscillating weight whose engraving remembers the logo of the brand.
