Swiss watch brand Raymond Weil celebrated its continued support of music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins by presenting the International Group Award to the Black-Eyed Peas at this year’s O2 Silver Clef Luncheon, a star-studded event held in support of the charity that took place on the 5th July at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

The trio of rappers took time out of their busy summer schedule to attend the event to collect the Raymond Weil International Group Award, which was presented by Craig Leach, Raymond Weil’s UK Brand Director.

Hip-hop group the Black-Eyed Peas expanded beyond their rap roots to become one of the most commercially successful pop groups of the 2000’s. Ignited by the Top Ten hit “Where Is the Love?” and the Grammy-winning party anthem “Let’s Get It Started,” the group scored three multiplatinum albums. This year, the Black-Eyed Peas released the single “Be Nice,” in which they recruited Snoop Dogg who is featured on the track.

The annual Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards Luncheon is now the jewel in the charity’s fundraising crown and a highlight of the UK music industry’s calendar.

The event has raised over £10 million for Nordoff Robbins and honored some of the greatest names in music. In addition to The Black-Eyed Peas, legends of the music industry such as Ed Sheeran, Years & Years, Mabel, Sheku Kanneh-Mason and The Chemical Brothers were amongst the winners of the 44th O2 Silver Clef Awards.
