Hanhart PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze Limited Edition

The new PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze from Hanhart comes with an extremely hard bronze-coated case instead of a copper-tin alloy and is limited to 300 pieces. The Bronze coating of the case of the new Flieger chronograph has 1’300 Vickers (HV) and is over five times harder than usual steel cases, which have around 220 HV. The case is highly resistant to external influences and scratches.

The PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze stands out from the crowd with its distinctive design. Due to its durability and build quality, it is the perfect companion for all kinds of activities: in the air or on the water, on the plane or on the yacht, on the beach or in the office.

Hanhart PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze Limited Edition Automatic Chronograph

Hanhart is well known for the production of aviation chronographs. In the past the manufactory from the Black Forest also built watches for the Marines. The inspiration for this new chronograph was the color of the ocean.

With the new PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze Hanhart combines the themes of air and water: the royal blue dial color and the bronze case are reflecting the element water, while the clear dial design, the skeletonized hands and the canvas strap with leather inlay reflect the element air.

Hanhart PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze Limited Edition Automatic Chronograph

For the PRIMUS collection, which stands for a modern interpretation of the Hanhart history, Hanhart has decided to choose a case material that isn’t changing over time and is produced with modern technology. In comparison to copper-tin alloys the case of the PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze will not age and will not apply copper rust.

Thus, the new aviator chronograph with a hardness of 1’300 Vickers (HV) is the perfect alternative for anyone who appreciates a bronze designed case and wants to retain this color, without a change or constant reprocessing of the case to restore the original condition.

Despite its modern, simple design, Hanhart’s typical features have not been left out. Significant recognition features of Hanhart chronographs are the fluted bezel with red index point and the red pusher.

Like the historic models from the 1930s, Hanhart relies on the proven bicompax design: the totalizers at 3 and 9 o’clock provide a harmonious appearance. They are as well very useful with display of the small second at 9 o’clock and the 30-minute stop at 3 o’clock.

Perfect daytime and nighttime legibility is ensured by Super-Luminova coated numerals, hands and indices. The flexible lugs lead to maximum comfort on each wrist.

Limited to 300 pieces, the PRIMUS Nautic Pilot Bronze will be retailed for 2950 Euro incl. VAT. Delivery starts in October.
