RESERVOIR Battlefield D-Day

The landings in Normandy on June 6th, 1944 mark the beginning of one of the biggest battles in the Second World War. On the beaches, thousands of cargo ships launch more than 20,000 war vehicles, including the Jeep, a legendary all-terrain vehicle designed in 1941 at the US Army’s request.

Used during the landings on June 6th, 1944, this all-terrain vehicle was an icon of the Second World War and today it is the symbol of adventure. The Battlefield Collection draws its inspiration from the heart of the history surrounding one of the biggest battles and landing operations.

The Battlefield D-Day watch takes its aesthetic criteria from this extraordinary, legendary vehicle. A sand-khaki dial, stamped with a white US Army star, a typical odometer-style hand, the Battlefield D-Day counts out the never-ending minutes of a fierce fight. Solidly strapped to the wrist, it pays tribute to the soldiers who overcame fear and death in the name of freedom.

More relevant than ever, the RESERVOIR icon brings back the symbol that was engraved on the petrol cans attached to the back of these all-terrain vehicles. It stands as an allegory for the incredible energy and resolute courage that the soldiers and pilots had as they fought against oppression. RESERVOIR unveils a collection filled with intensity and emotion, rooted in history with a strength that is only matched by one’s ability to overcome and excel.

The Battlefield collection is composed of three models, each one commemorates a major battlefield of the Second World War II: the Battlefield D-Day for the landing in Normandy is the first one available in October 2019. The models Battlefield Midway (Pacific War) and the Battlefield Tobrouk (theater in Africa) will complete the collection from 2020. A part of the sales will be donated to a charity for the veterans of this operation.
