French watch brand YEMA launched a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign on 29 May 2019 to promote its latest timepiece, the Superman Heritage Bronze.
With this campaign, YEMA is reissuing one of its most emblematic models the Superman 53.00.16 released in 1970 in a Bronze version. Resistant to corrosion, bronze makes this exclusive timepiece the ideal watch for all scuba diving amateurs and professionals.
The SUPERMAN HERITAGE BRONZE with its brushed finish on the case and bezel retains all the key aspects of its original model: 39 mm (also available in 41mm) case, 300 meters water-resistance, emblematic Yema bezel-lock mechanism indispensable for scuba diving, round indexes with Super-Luminova coating, “shovel” seconds hand and domed sapphire crystal.
Each timepiece is truly unique as each SUPERMAN HERITAGE BRONZE watch will patina differently depending on its use and its exposure to weather conditions. Each watch will have a natural vintage look with all the advantages of modern mechanical diving features.
Designed in close collaboration with professional diver Hugues Vitry, the SUPERMAN HERITAGE BRONZE is now available in an exclusive numbered edition limited to 1948 timepieces.
