Patek Philippe Ladies Automatic Nautilus Ref. 7118/1200A

Among the many Nautilus models for women, one that enjoys particular success is the steel version featuring a diamond-set bezel, launched in 2013. Its combination of classy and casual is unique. Patek Philippe has emphasized its sporty elegance by enlarging the diameter slightly (35.2 mm instead of 33.6 mm). All the Ladies Automatic Nautilus models now have the same diameter.

The manufacture has also revised the range of dial colors to compliment the dial’s horizontal embossed pattern, reminiscent of gentle waves.

Women now have the choice of blue opaline, silvery opaline or grey opaline shading to black at the periphery.

These three colors take naturally to the silky sheen of steel and the fire of the 56 Top Wesselton Pure diamonds (~0.67 ct) illuminating the bezel.

Time is indicated by white-gold applied numerals and hour markers and white gold hands with luminescent coating.

The date appears in an aperture at 6 o’clock in a white-gold applied frame.

The case, water-resistant to 60 m, takes up the famous Nautilus design, with its ingenious porthole construction and its octagonal bezel with softened angles and beveled flanks. Satin-brushed and polished finishes alternate to bring out the full beauty of its forms.

This piece is powered by a caliber 324 S C self-winding movement whose meticulous finish may be admired through a sapphire-crystal case back.

The steel bracelet, also embellished with satin-brushed and polished finishes, comes with a fold-over clasp endowed with a new adjustment system, enabling its owner to gain between 2 and 4 mm of extra bracelet length for increased comfort. All that is required is to pull on one or both halves of the bracelet when the clasp is closed, even while wearing the watch.

The new Ladies Automatic Nautilus Ref. 7118/1200A models replace all the Refs. 7018/1A in the collection.
