Netherlands based watch brand Vescari Watch Co. launched an online crowd funding campaign via Kickstarter on 27 March to raise funds for the initial mass production of their latest watch model, the Chestor. The campaign will be active till 26 April 2019.
‘The Chestor’ is a quartz chronograph watch that combines modern day specifications with a timeless look. The watch comes dressed in a 40mm stainless steel case featuring alternate brushed and polished finishing.
This timepiece is available four case styles: Stainless steel, Rose gold PVD coated, Stainless steel with rose gold PVD coated bezel and Black steel with rose gold PVD coated bezel. Thickness of the case is 13.6mm and Lug to lug width is 48mm. Front glass is domed mineral crystal with AR coating.
The Chestor is available in black, blue or silver sunburst dial with hand applied indexes and alpha styled hands. The 12 and 6 hour markers are highlighted in Arabic numerals. The dial has a classic bi-compax chronograph layout featuring two sub-dials – at 3ó clock (small seconds) and 9ó clock (chronograph minute counter) – along with centre chronograph second hands, and centre hour and minute hands.
The watch features a crown at 3ó clock for time setting. To enable stop-watch function, it has a pusher at 2ó clock to start & stop the chronograph and a pusher at 4ó clock to reset the chronograph. The watch is equipped with a made in Japan Miyota 6s21 caliber which combines the accuracy and reliability of a quartz movement with a 1/4 second sweep of the chronograph that is normally found in a mechanical watch.
The Chestor chronograph is available in 6 different color combinations that can be matched with one of leather, canvas straps or stainless steel bracelets. The leather strap features crocodile pattern and it is available in black, brown and dark blue colour versions.
The canvas strap is available in Black, Green and Blue colour versions. The leather and canvas straps feature quick release pins. The watch is also available with stainless steel bracelet with butterfly clasp. The straps measure a width of 20mm.
The watch has a water resistance of 50M/5ATM. Each timepiece carries an international warranty of 24 months.
