The Abingdon Co. Unveils Julia, the New Automotive Inspired Watch Designed with NASCAR Driver, Julia Landauer

US watch brand The Abingdon Co. is starting 2019 on the NSACAR circuit as they launch into the automotive racing arena with a new timepiece built in collaboration with two time champion NASCAR driver, Julia Landauer. The “Julia” watch is available on Indiegogo during their crowd-funding campaign ending on 20 February 2019.

The Abingdon/Landauer collaboration began a year ago after Abingdon, Crew Member in Chief of The Abingdon Co. reached out to Landauer after seeing an interview of her online. Over the course of the year, Abingdon and Landauer designed the Julia , a multi-function watch with a second time zone and tachymeter for precision timing. Available in Performance Black, Champion Gold, and Quick Silver and outfitted with interchangeable bands in leather and stainless steel.

Last November, Abingdon and Julia launched the timepiece at a private viewing in downtown Las Vegas with members of the press and influencers in the automotive industry.

Launched Monday, January 21, at midnight, the Julia is available for pre-order through Indiegogo. The first 25 backers will be able to get the Julia for 50% off the estimated retail of $399.00. As an added value, Julia is including an autographed picture of her on the track for the first 200 backers.

A backer who purchases the Julia will be able to choose one of three case choices and one of three band options. The case choices come in black, gold, and silver; and the band options come in brown leather, white leather, and stainless steel (in matching color to the case).

After the campaign ends on February 20th, The Abingdon Co. will begin manufacturing the Julia watch and will begin deliveries October 2019. The Julia will then be available at full retail price beginning November 2019.
