Based in Fleurier in the Val-de-Travers, Swiss watch brand Double-Vé Fleurier presents its first collection “Race” in two versions: “Endurance Race” and “Diamond Race”. The brand was created in May 2018 by Christophe Waelti. Born in the Val-de-Travers, he has always been incredibly passionate about both watchmaking and automobiles.
These watches, whose components are produced in the Neuchâtel Mountains, are entirely assembled in Fleurier.
Their originality lies in the chosen material, aluminum, which is used not only for the case but also for the main components of the movement. This ultra-light alloy allows to design a watch weighing less than 42 grams (figure that may vary depending on the model and the bracelet) but also to obtain finishes that would not have been technically feasible especially the red color of the main plate.
Designed by Christophe himself, the dial also in aluminum, inspired by the codes of racing cars, is varnished and printed to the neighboring village of Saint-Sulpice (NE).
The timepieces are equipped with a strap that is chosen at the option of the future owner, making each model a unique piece. The series are limited to 40 exemplars.
- Anodized aluminum case. For the Diamond Race model, the bezel is set with 60 black crystals.
- Diameter: 44 mm, thickness: 10.50 mm.
- Mechanical movement with manual winding made of aluminum, 21,600 a/h and 46 hours of power reserve.
