MECCANICHE VENEZIANE is an Italian watch brand established in 2017, dealing with the production of Swiss Made timepieces and characterized by a peculiar design, inspired by the tradition of Venice. The brand is the successful outcome of the partnership between two ambitious brothers, Alessandro, who graduated in Marketing and Communication in Venice and Alberto, who got a master’s degree in Economy and Finance at the University of Melbourne.

The Meccaniche Veneziane watches takes inspiration from the horological tradition of Venice, where we can discover where several public clocks stand out on majestic buildings in every corner of the city. Meccaniche Veneziane rediscovers this illustrious tradition.

The company was born in May 2017, after the conclusion of two profitable campaigns on the crowd-funding platform Kickstarter that allowed the gathering of over 300.000 Swiss francs. During 2017, Meccaniche Veneziane officially received the status of innovative startup (d.l. 179/2012), from the Chamber of Commerce of Venice. The firm currently exports to over 50 countries, such as the USA, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Japan, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

In a constantly evolving society depending on digital devices, Meccaniche Veneziane focuses on the creation of high-precision mechanical products, never made obsolete by new technologies and facilitating every day’s life by combining Swiss manufacture with Italian design and by allowing an optimum use of the watch, that won’t require any operating system update or battery charging.

Meccaniche Veneziane delivers mechanical Swiss Made watches, designed in Italy and created with the employment of cutting-edge materials, combining classical lines and an innovative spirit and pursuing an ideal of excellence and exclusivity. Every Meccaniche Veneziane timepiece is endowed with a numbered plate made of corten steel and antiqued by taking advantage of lagoon’s water. The metal used for this detail’s production, comes from one of the most ancient Venetian foundries, Bertoldini e Torre, which boasts a history of over 400 years. Moreover, Meccaniche Veneziane watches are accompanied by Made in Italy leather straps and by a handcrafted packaging, shaped from precious wood.
