Hamtun Nanok
Active since 2015, young micro-watch brand Hamtun presents Nanok, a classic styled day-date automatic watch, which combines time-tested Swiss technology with subtle modern design touches.
The Nanok has a solid 316L stainless steel case measuring 39mm diameter, 46mm lug to lug width, 20mm inter-horn width and 10.6mm thickness. Front glass is a flat sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating. The screw-down crown ensures the watch’s water resistant to 100 metres/10ATM.
The Nanok is powered with a Swiss made Sellita SW 240-1 automatic movement featuring 26 jewels and 28,800 bpm beat.
Its matt black satin finished dial features applied white hour markers that are filled with lume. Both hour and minute hands also employ BGW9 super-luminova to ensure night time visibility. It boasts a large curved window at 12’o clock for day display and a date window at 6’o clock.
The Nanok day-date automatic watch comes with a choice of two genuine leather straps, in grey or black and handmade from vegetable tanned leather. A 316L stainless steel H-link bracelet with ratcheting clasp is available for an extra £30.
The brand has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds ($26,294 goal) for the initial mass production of the Nanok day-date automatic watch. The campaign will be active till 08 Nov 2018 and backing this project, the customers can purchase a Nanok automatic watch with special Kickstarter price starting from £279 (Appx US$ 367).
